Give it up for Miami Friday, July 9, 2010

We have had another great day and night in Miami, Florida. I started my day out at an exercise class with Sandy, it was a very good workout and I met all her friends, very nice ladies. We went to lunch at Pig Out, which is one of favorite places to eat. I will talk about this in my next session it must be described it's about the experience too. We came back to the house and Jeff did some more odd jobs around his mom's house for her. I left to the library to see if I could start uploading my pictures that I have taken while we are here. I was at the Library for over an hour with not much success, their internet was not working very well, so I was not able to accomplish what I set out to do. I went to Publix grocery store, to pickup some Jasmin Rice for the dinner I was planning for us tonight and don't tell anyone I picked up a Cuban pastry that I ate on the way home, what a treat. Jeff and I jumped in the pool and swam for about an hour and we also gave Maggie our Pom swimming lessons, she is getting better she is not as scared as she first was when we put her in the pool. She has never even seen a pool before, this is all new for her. I made Ginger Garlic Beef and Vegetables for dinner, very tasty! Jeff and I left the dogs and his mom home and went for a drive to the Miami Arena down in the heart of the city where they place basketball. This town has lost there minds over this James Lebron guy who was just signed for the Miami Heat Basketball team and the two other guys, they are calling all of them the three kings. We just wanted to see what was going on so we drove down there and then we drove over to South Beach, that place was hoping once again. We people watched, have you ever done that, just watch what people do, it's kind of neat? I took some good pictures, I will post when I get home. We were out and about for 3 hours, then went looking for an ice cream store we ended up at the Dairy Queen on Biscayne Blvd and about 140th Street. I really wanted to go the the best est place in the world for ice cream and that would be Jackson's Ice Cream Parlor in Dania, but Jeff said it was to far, so we settled for the DQ. We ate our ice cream and head back home. Nothing fancy nothing big, but a nice day and night.
